Mission and Commitment

System One is approaching 2012 with a very strong approach on sustainability, our focus is to ensure that we are operating as sustainably as possible; from administration, field operations, as well as to the end client and user.

In order to meet Vancouver’s 10-year goal and new mandate of becoming the greenest city in the world by 2020 it is imperative that everyone, in every aspect of construction and design strive for sustainable practices and products in every way possible.

Our priority is to continually search for improvements that will reduce its environmental footprint while maintaining an ability to deliver superior products and services to customers. This commitment to providing the best quality floor solutions that are also more sustainable is equally important to our customers – allowing them to claim less environmental impact related to the acquisition of project materials.

We are constantly investigating and implementing new ways to reducing our environmental impact by providing our clients with the most sustainable products and process on the market.

We have taken our own initiates in education our staff through the CaBGB, acquiring a LEED coordinator, and making numerous changes in the way we operate our own office and crews.
